Like some reviewers I have never been a great pasta fan but I love Northern Pasta which I have been using since November 2023.
I do appreciate the excellent recipes that feature regularly on the website. I live in Central Scotland and most of the foodie shops are in Edinburgh and Glasgow and can be quite difficult and time consuming to get to however there is an amazing farm shop in Denny 10 minutes from me who are stockists and hold all the Northern Pasta varieties as well as all the fresh high quality ingredients which go to make up any pasta dish you wish to make. I know the owners monitor the recipes and make a point of stocking the ingredients needed which is very helpful and saves having to shop aroundd
Amazing pasta holds it shape once cooked. Catches the sauces nicely and is also very tasty cold. Flavour is perfect not overly powerful as some pasta can be. I will be back for more as the quality is top notch
Whilst on holiday bought a packet of fusilli and thought " I'll try this and if any good I'll stock up at Booths before I go home". Fat chance: sold out. I'm not suprised, wonderful pasta. I'll have to organize a delivery.
Started using Northern Pasta after seeing their pasta featured on the James Martin Saturday cookery show . Started with a box of 4 shapes which we throughly enjoyed , the pasta fills you up but more importantly doesn’t ‘bloat ‘ you out after eating .
Since that first order , we have been subscribing with a monthly order of 3 packets a month ever since , and we wouldn’t eat any other pasta now it is that good! 👍🏻
Great pasta. Can be eaten with a drizzle of oil or butter if you prefer a ‘pure’ experience. Lovely taste - it’s definitely different (in a good way) to mass-produced, store bought pasta.
