Terms & Conditions for use of our Service

Northern Pasta Company/Northern Pasta Co. offers a “Service” for online ordering of goods, conditioned upon acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices as stated here (the “Terms and Conditions”). By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and of legal age in the United Kingdom.

 

Northern Pasta Company provides quality dried pasta via an ecommerce website, offering customers the ability to order goods online for delivery across the UK. Since we provide perishable goods, we are unable to accept returns for any reason. We accept orders for delivery to all regions served by a next-day courier delivery service. We are unable to deliver to the Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Northern Ireland and parts of Scotland (check this link to see if you are within the 'Next-Day' delivery region).

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By visiting our site or purchasing goods from us, you agree to be bound by such Terms and Conditions, which shall apply to all users of the website, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants or contributors of content. If you do not agree to all the Terms and Conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services.

 

  1. Online Store

When you place an order with us it will be deemed that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Please do not proceed with placing an order if you do not agree to any item in these terms.

 

By placing an order through the Northern Pasta Company website you are making an offer to Northern Pasta Company to purchase the goods detailed in your order upon the terms described in your order. When you place an order, we will require your name, email address, credit/debit card, phone and address details. This information is required to process your request and inform you of acceptance and progress of our order. Under these terms we may provide our couriers with all your contact details in case they need to reach you to arrange the delivery of your order. 

 

After placing an order online, we will provide you with confirmation that your order has been received but this is not confirmation that your offer to buy the items has been accepted. Our contract for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed, and despatched to you.

 

Please note we will not be able to meet any obligations for any of the below reasons:

  • If the product you ordered is out of stock
  • We are unable to authorise your payment
  • If it is identified that there is a product description or pricing error
  • If you do not meet the delivery criteria outlined in these Terms and Conditions
  • If our delivery courier is temporarily unable to deliver due to exceptional conditions that are beyond our control including hazardous weather and accidents.

 

Should there be an issue with your order, one of our Customer Services team will contact you either by phone or email. Please ensure that you check all items on receipt, as faulty or damaged items must be reported within five working days of receiving the parcel.

Northern Pasta Company reserves the right to reject any offer of purchase by you at any point. 

 

Please note that whilst we will make every effort and reasonable care to keep your order details and payment secure, we cannot be responsible for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any information that you supply when accessing or ordering from the Northern Pasta website.

 

When placing an order, you will automatically be added to our mailing list. However, should you wish not to receive mailings, please inform our Customer Services team and they will remove you from our list.

 

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. If we make a change to or cancel an order, we will notify you using the email or phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

 

  1. Product Pricing & Descriptions

Every product bought is sold subject to its product description which also outlines any further specific conditions that relate to that product including, without restriction, terms and conditions regarding approximate delivery dates/times, warranties, after-sales support and guarantees. 

 

We undertake all reasonable care to ensure that all the details, prices and descriptions of website products are accurate at the time when the appropriate information was entered onto our system. Whilst we endeavour to keep the website as up-to-date and accurate as is possible, there may be rare occasions when the information on the website, including product descriptions, may not reflect the products exactly at the point an order is placed.

The pricing shown for our products is subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any product without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the products.

 

  1. Change and Cancellation of Orders
    If you'd like to make a change to your order, such as the date of delivery or the product or you need to cancel your order and request a refund, please contact one of our customer service team by emailing hello@northernpasta.co.uk

 

 

  1. Damages and Refunds

Please inspect your box upon receipt and contact us immediately if the box is damaged, incomplete or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and respond accordingly. 

In the event of an issue with your order or a cancellation, you’ll be refunded to your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time (typically 3-5 working days) for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.

 

  1. Disclaimer & Limitations of Liability

We do not guarantee or warrant that your use of our Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. We do not warrant that the results that may be obtained from the use of the Service will be accurate or reliable. You agree that from time to time we may remove the Service for indefinite periods or cancel the Service at any time, without notice to you. Further, you expressly agree that your use of, or inability to use, the Service is at your sole risk. The Service and all products and services delivered to you through the Service are provided 'as is' and 'as available' for your use, without any representation, warranties or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including all implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, and non-infringement.

In no case shall Northern Pasta Company, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, suppliers or  service providers be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the Service or any products procured using the Service, or for any other claim related in any way to your use of the Service or any product, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the Service or any content (or product) posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the Service, even if advised of their possibility. 

 

Northern Pasta Company does not look to exclude or limit liability for personal injury or death arising from its negligence or that of its employees, agents or directors or for any misrepresentation that is fraudulent. 

 

Whilst we try and do everything reasonable to keep the information on our website up-to-date and correct, we do not give any warranty to its completeness or correctness and we cannot be held responsible for any omissions, errors or for any resulting implications from the use of this information. We make all reasonable effort to ensure a reliable and fast service but we do not guarantee that your use of the Northern Pasta Company website will be free from interruption or errors and cannot be held responsible for any disruption, loss of or corruption of any material in transit, or loss of or corruption of material or data when downloaded onto computer systems. 

 

In addition, Northern Pasta Company cannot be held responsible or liable for your use of any websites that are accessible from this website as we do not have any control or responsibility for these. Any such links should not be viewed as an endorsement by Northern Pasta Company.
